Editor: You could easily make this local by ‘celebrating’ the grandparents in your church. You might ask your minister for his/her help in inviting people to ‘identify’ themselves as grandparents, so that you could record the number in your magazine. You could then invite two or three of them to give you some comments on why they enjoy being grandparents, and what they have ‘passed down’ to their grandchildren.
