And the May issue

This month we offer you stories on several issues that are already in the national news.

May brings us the Coronation, and we have articles and prayers on King Charles III, as he begins his reign.

May brings the local elections, and we have a story on the bishop who is protesting against the requirement for a photo ID.

There is also the bishop who wants to remove the two-child limit on benefits, and the bishop who is critical of immigration proposals.

Meanwhile, cathedrals are slowly recovering from the Covid-19 measures, and local churches are counting the wildlife in their churchyards.

May also brings us the Ascension and Pentecost, and we have several articles explaining the significance of both events in the Gospel story.

And in addition, we have our usual wide range of humour, quotes and feature articles on everything from aid agencies at work in Turkey to daily life in the UK.

With all good wishes
