A Sample of What We Offer Each Month
This page provides examples of the kind of material we make available each and
every month. You can download these samples and try them out in your magazine,
newsletter, bulletin ..etc.
You'll find two types of downloads on this page - text and graphics. The
text-based material is designed to be copied and pasted into your documents as
plain text. You would then apply formatting to the text to suit your
publication. The graphics are designed to be downloaded to your computer and
then inserted or imported into your publications.
Just a word of caution before you begin. To ensure the best results when using
the graphics, avoid copying and pasting the images. The secret to getting good
results is to insert the image directly into your magazine document.
If for example you use Microsoft Word, first download the image to your
computer, making sure you save the image to a file on your computer rather than
opening it in your web browser. When you have the file downloaded and sitting
on your computer somewhere, open Microsoft Word. Place your cursor where you
want the image to appear on the page. From the 'Insert' menu choose 'Picture',
then pick 'From File' and browse to the image file which you downloaded. Select
it and click the 'Insert' button. The image should appear in your document and
you should be able to resize it without loss of definition.
The steps are similar whichever program you are using to produce your magazine.
The key here is not to copy and paste, but rather to insert the image directly
into your document.
